New Short Stories!

Hello!
So since December, I've published two short stories.

The Wars is a Christmas short story. Which I know it's passed Christmas, but I do think that this story can be read at any time of the year. This story was written back in 2010 when I was still in high school. But I took it and rewrote it all over. It's changed a lot since then considering the first version was written in verse.

False Burials and Lies is a prequel of sorts to a book that'll be out sometime in the future. This one is fun and dark and filled with romance. Haha, as you'll see with most of my books. This was one that I originally wrote in high school, but found again recently and all these ideas just started popping into my head. So I spruced it up and started planning a full book to go along with it. Though... the full book might not be out for a while since I am currently working on my first full novel.

The Beast King is said novel and I'm so excited for you all to read it. 

But before then I have several other short stories coming out before then to tide you over. I don't want to give too much out about them, but I'm excited for you to read those as well. 

I haven't been able to post much, as you can see. I've been super busy working with and in Marfa House, but it's been a fun ride and I can't wait to see what comes next.

Hello and Welcome!

Hello!
Welcome to my new author blog! I'm Kim and I'm an upcoming author. A soon to be published author? Well anyways, I have a few short stories coming out soon and a novel to be released later next year. The first of my short stories is for a Christmas anthology. Which the short story in that will be available to get on its own later on in 2017. The other short story coming out will be coming out early 2017 and it's a historical romance.
Then we have my book, which I've been working very hard on. If you like fairytale retellings then this would be right up your alley. I'll give you a little hint: it's based on East of the Sun, West of the Moon. Have you heard of this fairytale? It's amazing. I think maybe I'll do a little background story post on how the book came to be when the release date gets closer.
I guess I should say a little bit about myself, right? Well let me start off by saying that I have chinchillas. They're my party trick. When people ask if I have any interesting facts or talents about myself I'll whip out my chinchillas. And yes, raising chinchillas is a talent. Haha. I have two boys named Rowan and Rhysand.

I guess you can say that I'm also a professional book hoarder. I really do love my books. I even tried to do reviews sometimes. Though I'm not sure if they're any good. I tried though!
I'm also a TV show addict. Like real bad. There's an endless list going on of shows that I love. I currently just got into Stranger Things. Holy crap guys. Is that show amazing or what? Speaking of shows, tell me if you have any favorites, anime included! Maybe I'll get some good recs.

I'm currently in the middle of NaNoWriMo. Though, maybe now I can just say that I failed epically.
